Imerys (Talc) Jetfine

Superfine talc crushed all at once with high energy.

Jetfine talc is a product series that has been ultra-fine powdered through conventional jet mill grinding, but it is ground all at once using a significantly high energy, resulting in a particle size of approximately 4μm with a flat shape remaining. Compared to general-purpose talc with a laser d50 of about 5.5μm, it shows improvements in both flexural modulus and impact resistance, making it a very well-balanced product. Due to its performance balance, it is user-friendly and has been well-received as the "base talc" in talc PP compounds. Additionally, because it contains almost no coarse particles, its brittleness characteristics in surface impact tests are superior compared to general-purpose talc.
